Parish Health Ministries

The Team

The Parish Health Ministry Team consists of people dedicated to a wholistic ministry which promotes spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual and social wellbeing.

The Mission of the Team

Promoting unity with Christ and his people through nurturing of the mind, body and spirit.

Programs

  • Wholistic health issues for children and adults
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Hospital and home visitations
  • Blood drives
  • Flu shots
  • Adopt-a-grandparent
  • Address various health issues voiced by parishioners.

Parish Nurses

A parish nurse is a registered (RN or LPN) nurse who is a member of the Parish Health Ministry Team.

The team members do not perform direct physical care or invasive procedures. They do provide assessment, health counseling, education, teaching of lay volunteers, referral to community resources, prayer and a wide variety of services to our parish and our community.
