Lutheran Men in Mission

The Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM) is an organization of men who are dedicated to serving the congregation and the community. They meet on the third Sunday of each month for Bible study and planning. They take an annual trip for canoeing down the Niobrara River and are also well-known for their pancake feeds. They gather to watch the Super Bowl game every year as part of their “Souper Bowl” event. LMM sponsors congregational youth who are interested in attending Camp Carol Joy Holling, and also contribute to the LMM Loan and Grant Fund for seminary students from within the Nebraska Synod.

Officer elections are held each year to choose new leaders. Leaders for 2007 include:

  • President: Randy Bright
  • President-Elect: John Harms
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Kurt Schroeder.

This group is one part of the Men’s Ministries of the ELCA.
